Session fees, how insurance and receipts work, and the practical details, all in one place.
Every fee is listed here in full, with nothing hidden. The first conversation is always free.
I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) in the Province of Ontario. Many extended health and third-party benefit plans cover therapy provided by an RSW, often listed under mental health, social work, or psychotherapy.
I do not bill insurers directly. You pay at the time of your session and I issue a receipt right away, which you submit to your own plan for reimbursement.
Before we begin, it is worth confirming with your insurer that they cover a Registered Social Worker, how much they reimburse per session and per year, and whether they need anything specific on the receipt.
You do not need a referral to see me. Some plans still ask for one before they will reimburse you, so it is worth checking.
Every receipt includes my name, registration, the date, and the fee, which is what an insurer typically needs.
The ordinary details, so there is nothing left to wonder about.
Start with the free 15-minute call. We can talk through fees, what your insurance is likely to reimburse, and whether we are the right fit, before you commit to anything.
